Daniel Craig recently stopped by Time Out on a media tour promoting the upcoming James Bond film Spectre. The film is the latest in a sexy series which Craig tells Time Out he’d—hmm, oh, rather slash his wrists than continue to be a part of. Pre-sale tickets available now!
Bond—James Bond. Daniel Craig has played the character for some amount of years, and some amount of movies. Knowing this is his last one, however, and that he is on the press tour for it, can he ever imagine doing another? A good question. Time Out asks, and Daniel Craig answers:
Now? I’d rather break this glass and slash my wrists. No, not at the moment. Not at all. That’s fine. I’m over it at the moment. We’re done. All I want to do is move on.
OK, man, jesus—but what about for the love of the franchise? Would Daniel Craig do another James Bond movie simply out of his love for the franchise, refusing a paycheck as I assume he’s done for the past however many of these he’s been in so far?
If I did another Bond movie, it would only be for the money.
Damn—he’s even lost his desire to do Bond movies out of love for the franchise! Does he even care who plays Bond next?!
Look, I don’t give a fuck. Good luck to them!
Damn! This guy is over it!!!!!
