Lee Tamahori Cops A Plea

TMZ.com is reporting that cross-dressing, fellatio-hawking director Lee Tamahori has plea bargained his way out of prostitution charges, thus bringing an end to a distressingly literal chapter in the history of Hollywood whoredom:

Director Lee Tamahori has pled no contest to criminal trespass. In return, prostitution charges against him were dropped. [...]

Tamahori, who was not present for the court hearing, was placed on three years probation and ordered to attend an AIDS education course. He must also perform 15 days community service for the Hollywood Beautification Project.

This might seem like yet another legal wrist-slap delivered to a celebrity lawbreaker, but the community service component of the deal is actually quite severe. Tamahori will spend those 15 days planting flowers along Santa Monica Boulevard while dressed in a court-ordered wardrobe of last year's Chanel, with the humiliating taunts of local trannies serving as a constant, stinging reminder of why selling blowjobs in Hollywood is a bad idea.
