And while we feel that, on the whole, the staffers over there put together a pretty thorough examination of the last 25 years of pop culture, we do have a few qualms with their list. Chief among them is the inclusion of Casino Royale, the 2006 rebooting of the Bond franchise, which came in at #19 in their list of Top 100 movies. While it was certainly a serviceable action thriller, we've never quite been able to understand Owen Gleiberman's fascination with the film (he also rated it the top movie of 2006). Sure, the opening sequence was pretty cool if you've never seen Banlieue 13 or The Bourne Supremacy, but for us, the rest of the film was pure, uncut meh. After all, it couldn't have been just us who fell asleep during that interminable card game of Uno* that took up the entire third act of the film, right? But we're getting off track here. What we meant to be discussing all along is the new trailer for JB22, aka Quantum Of Solace, which we have for you after the jump.

Once again, color us unimpressed. James Bond's gone rogue? Um, as we alluded to before the jump, we've already seen that movie. Three times, in fact. Although, we did find it interesting that director Marc Forster (he of Monster's Ball fame) decided to film a scene that recreates this year's most controversial Vanity Fair cover shoot, substituting British babebot Gemma Atherton for the despoiled Miley, in a plot twist that seems on the surface to be more Friedberg and Seltzer than Ian Fleming. If test audiences like what they see and demand that Forster insert a few more pop culture spoofs into his film, then maybe this movie will be worth seeing after all. We've got our fingers crossed for the "I Can Do 200 Of These" guy.

*We're pretty sure it wasn't actually Uno, but like we said, we were asleep.

<![CDATA['Superbad' To Receive Extremely Lame Parody Treatment From The Dudes Who Make Those Extremely Lame Movie Parodies]]> These are special times, people. You can take Airplane and Top Secret and shove 'em up your ass, because the golden age of the spoof film is happening right now. Superhero Movie is capturing the hearts and minds of the people at multiplexes nationwide. Before that, Meet the Spartans and Epic Movie set the world alight with laughter for months upon months. And now, the brain trust behind those two masterpieces, Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer, have decided to leave the ancient world behind and parody something much more formidable: Superbad.

That's right, a comedic spoof of an already comedic movie. "Why would something like that be necessary?" you might ask. That's like asking a mountain climber why he wants to scale Everest. Because it's there. Now stop asking questions.

The parody will be called Goodie Two Shoes and it will follow a "group of friends who go on a life-changing adventure." Surely along the way they will encounter lots of fart jokes and pop culture references that already feel dated. And, guess what? The casting call says the movie is searching for look-a-likes to play Flava Flav, Dr. Phil, Paris Hilton, and Michael Jackson. So, if you resemble one of them, give your agent a saidrj%hfn#kasld@nf;lkaks— Oh, sorry! We were getting lightheaded just imagining all the hillarious hijinx Goodie Two Shoes will have in store and our head hit the keyboard.

<![CDATA[10 Ways 'Meet The Spartans' Can Achieve 'Epic Movie' Greatness]]>
After hearing the news last February that Britney Spears had shaved her head, most of us reacted with shock, quipped to a friend ("that bitch crazy!"), clicked on a picture or two and went on about our lives. Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer, on the other hand, immediately began thinking about ways they could squeeze the moment into their annual low-brow pop culture mash-up to-be. Judging by the trailer for the duo's Meet the Spartans, inspiration never truly came, but that didn't stop 'em from using the moment anyway. In the trailer, a Spears lookalike shears her locks and begins cooing in her breathy baby voice, only to be — wait for it! — kicked into the pit from 300 by a Gerard Butler clone. Hilarious, right?

Yeah, we didn't think so either. But hey, it combines two pop culture moments from 2007, which is about as much as a Friedberg and Seltzer joke can hope to achieve. So while we have no official plans to see this movie (like EVER!), we put together a list of five moments we THINK will be included and five moments that we HOPE will be included in the sure-to-be-durst Meet The Spartans.

We think we'll see:
1. Miss South Carolina Teen USA, Caitlin "Such As" Upton
2. Soulja Boy's "Crank That (Soulja Boy)" dance (possibly performed by the cast of Hairspray)
3. Superbad's McLovin
4. First Amendment crusader Andrew "Don't Tase Me Bro!" Meyer
5. The Sopranos' ending

We'd like to see:
1. A send-up of the crazies Ben Foster played in Alpha Dog and 3:10 to Yuma, possibly played by Ben Foster himself
2. A Wild Hogs parody starring Stuntman Mike, Anton Chigurh, Chris Benoit and Tracy Morgan
3. A Black Snake Moan spoof where the Samuel L. Jackson role is played by Ted Danson in blackface (because Ted Danson in blackface is always good for a laugh)
4. A bit where Gary Busey keeps walking into the frame and interrupting Atonement's 5-minute tracking shot
5. Parodies of Hotel Chevalier and Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium, with the role of Natalie Portman played by Freddie Highmore
