    Nicolette Sheridan: Desperately All Natural

nicolette-sheridan.jpgWe thought we'd get through the rest of the day without a neurotic actress defending her obviously natural beauty from accusations that she's gone under the knife, but this Access Hollywood press release has brazenly relieved itself all over that idea. It seems that Desperate Housewives' Nicolette Sheridan is so anxious to convince the world that she's never been to a plastic surgeon that... she went to a plastic surgeon. How mindbogglingly Zen!

Sheridan denies she's had plastic surgery performed. "I am being accused of all this plastic surgery, which is absolutely not true," she says. The actress explains why she did pay a visit to a plastic surgeon recently. "I just wanted to put an end to these rumors," she says. "I just wanted to prove it, so I went to a plastic surgeon in Beverly Hills who examined my face and said... 'I can tell you haven't (had surgery), the signs of aging are on your face' (laughs)."

Since the doctor wasn't certifying anything below the neck, Sheridan doesn't have to feel guilty if she decided to pick up a new rack, you know, while she was in the neighborhood.

The full press release, in which Sheridan discusses being called a tranny, is after the jump.

ON THE NEXT "ACCESS HOLLYWOOD": DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES'" NICOLLETTE SHERIDAN TELLS BILLY BUSH THAT RUMORS SHE'S HAD PLASTIC SURGERY ARE "ABSOLUTELY NOT TRUE" Published: December 14, 2004

SHOW AIRS ON TUESDAY, DECEMBER 14, 2004

BURBANK, Calif. — December 14, 2004 — In an interview with
"Access Hollywood's" Billy Bush, "Desperate Housewives" star
Nicollette Sheridan says rumors she's had plastic surgery
are "absolutely not true." The interview airs on "Access
Hollywood" on Tuesday, December 14, 2004 (check local
    listings for time and station).

Sheridan denies she's had plastic surgery performed. "I am
being accused of all this plastic surgery, which is
    absolutely not true," she says.

The actress explains why she did pay a visit to a plastic
surgeon recently. "I just wanted to put an end to these
rumors," she says. "I just wanted to prove it, so I went to
a plastic surgeon in Beverly Hills who examined my face and
said... 'I can tell you haven't (had surgery), the signs of
aging are on your face' (laughs)."

Sheridan also defends her look at the recent American Music
Awards, which she feels inspired New York gossip columnist
Liz Smith's recent article describing her appearance as
    transgendered-esque. "It was a beautiful, couture...dress
and my hair dresser and makeup artist got a little carried
away," she says. "The next thing I know I'm being called
some 'transgendered-esque,' it was the nastiest thing I've
    really ever heard."

When Bush asked the Golden Globe® nominee for her thoughts
on "Desperate Housewives" co-star Eva Longoria being the
only member of the show's leading ensemble without a
nomination Sheridan replied, "Not only is she stunningly
beautiful, she's an incredible actress and I think she is
just going to soar. She is a part of this (awards show)
because the show is nominated and she is in the show, she
    rocks."

"Access Hollywood" is produced by NBC and distributed by NBC
Universal Domestic Television Distribution. Rob K.
    Silverstein is the executive producer.
