Dangerous local vigilante walk-in diner and drum-kit hijacker Jeremy Piven struck again at Room 5 recently, hopping on stage during musician Kelley Jimenez's set, booting out the drummer, and sitting in for a couple of songs, indulging anew the frustrated rock-star fantasies that seem to surface from time to time. Following this unbidden performance, Piven offered a humble, "That was like a Make-a-Wish for a nice Jewish boy" thank-you, a pleasant departure from the post-Emmy, "I won metal!" bow we're told he took at a previous gig.
