[Note: UPDATE after the jump!] In what represents a clear snacking downgrade from the delicious, piping hot churros that had previously won CAA near-universal acclaim from the striking-writer community, the evil agenting monolith's conspicuously overdressed, munchie-proferring emissaries were spotted at this afternoon's Hollywood Blvd. Solidarity March distributing—audible gasp!—scones.
Though the operative who snapped the attached photo described the pastries as"succulent" and "baby-laced," we're still disappointed by the effort, one that seems to indicate that the agency is already half-assing its picketer-nourishing efforts; not only does the choice of food itself feel uninspired, but the assistant was carrying the scones on a ceramic tray, demonstrating that partner Bryan Lourd no longer cares enough to send his troops out with his best sterling silver serving platters. Snack Grade: C-
