In an attempt to save money while the economy continues to make a downward turn, Fool's Gold star Matthew McConaughey has decided to bring his own beer to bars and other social functions. McConaughey explained that a lot of his money will now go to provide a good life for his soon-to-be-born child, but he still wants to have a good time — hence, the cooler. McConaughey also said that he's had a lot of moments recently that he felt would perfectly be capped off with an ice cold beer, but there was never a beer around. Or, if there was one, it would be fairly lukewarm. McConaughey said, "You just can't celebrate something with a warm beer. It's a crime in Texas and will probably be one in California in a couple of years."
