It's nice to see that Hilary Swank is using the spoils of fame to keep perennially emasculated hubby Chad Lowe a productive member of society in between infrequent acting gigs. From Variety:

AMC has greenlit "Celebrity Charades," a six-episode gameshow from exec producers Bob Balaban, Chad Lowe and Hilary Swank.

SkeinSkein is the premiere series project from Lowe and Swank's Accomplice Films shingle. [...]

Lowe and Balaban will serve as rotating hosts and participate in various challenges.

Still, we detect an underlying malice even in this apparent act of marital largesse. We suspect that ever since forgetting to mention Lowe's name in her Oscar acceptance speech for Boys Don't Cry, Swank experiences a secret thrill every time her husband is humiliated. While she'll probably never equal the exhilaration of snubbing her life partner on a global stage like the Academy Awards again, saddling him with the embarrassing hosting duties on a rehash of Win, Lose, or Draw must be a pretty fucking good rush.
